¢¡)Bachelor's Degree Majors
a. Fashion Design: this program is to lead the student to be creative fashion designers with an knowledge of clothing design theory and traditional Chinese clothing. Main courses are: fashion illustration, plane illustration, clothing material, clothing pattern, color, fashion design, sewing and tailoring of clothing, clothing marketing, Chinese ethnic minority clothing and accessory, etc..
b. Ornamental art: this program is designed to provide student with knowledge of fashion accessory design. Courses are: sketch, color, traditional Chinese painting, minority clothing and accessory, jewelry design, ornamental sculpture, etc.
c. Textiles Surface Design nurtures high specialized intellectuals mastering textiles design theory and techniques. Main courses are: sketch, water color, traditional Chinese painting, pattern, plane illustration, color, interior design, CAD, textiles plastic design, textiles display design, fiber art, printed pattern design, folk printing and dyeing techniques, clothing design, etc.
d. Advertising and Packaging Design Courses are: sketch, water color, traditional Chinese painting, pattern, color, printing techniques, plastic art of container, CAD, packaging design, advertising design, window display design, etc.
e. International Trade nurtures advanced and practical intellectuals specialized in international trade theory and mastering basic clothing knowledge and English. Main courses are: economics, international trade, international marketing, international finance, economic law, international commerce law, international trade practices ,etc
¢¢) Chinese Training.
Elementary level course: this intensive course starts with phonetics and then moves on to everyday vocabulary, expressions and basic grammar. Emphasis is put on developing listening comprehension and immediate response. By the end of the first semester, learners should have a good command of 1500-2000 words and a fair competence in carrying on daily life conversations.
Intermediate level course and advanced level course: these are to develop the learners' listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. Both are one-year course. By the end of the second semester, the student should be able to carry on conversations with full competence.

Three-week Chinese Course (Elementary or Intermediate level): intensive reading, listening and speaking, Chinese culture, Chinese living, etc.
Four-week Chinese Course: intensive reading, listening and speaking, Chinese Culture, Chinese history, Beijinger's living, etc.
Five-week Chinese Course: intensive reading, listening and speaking, Chinese Culture, Chinese history, Beijinger's living, Chinese college student life, etc.
Six-week Chinese Course: intensive reading, listening and speaking, Chinese Culture, Chinese history, Beijinger's living, Chinese college student life, Learning Chinese songs, etc.
Three-week Handwriting Course: Chinese handwriting.
Three-week Chinese Painting Courses: Chinese traditional painting.
Three-week Minority Clothing Course: Chinese ethnic minority clothing and accessory.
For bachelor's degree student, high school diploma, communicative competence in Chinese language and age under 30 is required.

¢¢)Documents to be submitted when applying:
1). a completed application form
2). a certificate of graduation and transcripts listing courses taken and scores from an accredited high school
3). a letter of guarantee from the applicant' financial supporter in China
4). a physical examination record
5). four 2-inch photos
Notices of admission will be
sent out two weeks after entrance examinations by foreign affairs office.
Bachelor's Degree Course: application fee $50,tution per semester $1500, to be paid in full on the day of registration.
Chinese Training Course: application fee $50,tuition per semester $800,and discounts are given after the first semester.
Short-term course: application fee $30.
Three-week course $180,four-week course $200, five- week course $250, six-week course $350.
the foreign students dormitory offers single and double room, with inside-room toilet, shower, kitchen and public washing machine, etc.
